Panopticom il nuovo brano inedito di Peter Gabriel dal 2016

 

Oggi, alla prima luna piena del 2023, Peter pubblica la prima nuova canzone dal suo prossimo album i/o. Scritto e prodotto da Peter, Panopticom è stato registrato ai Real World Studios nel Wiltshire e The Beehive a Londra.

Panopticom fa riferimento a un'idea a cui Peter sta lavorando per iniziare la creazione di un globo di dati accessibile infinitamente espandibile. L'obiettivo è "permettere al mondo di vedersi meglio e capire di più cosa sta realmente succedendo".

L'uscita di "Panopticom" nel giorno della prima luna piena del 2023 non è una coincidenza e, in linea con la filosofia di Gabriel, l'approccio a "i/o" sarà un po' diverso dalla norma. Le fasi lunari guideranno il piano di pubblicazione nel 2023, con un nuovo brano rivelato ogni luna piena.
