MEMORABILIA

comprai questo long playng anni dopo la sua reale uscita; inizialmente non è che mi entusiasmasse molto vi erano 2/3 canzoni che mi piacevano le altre praticamente non le ascoltavo, la musica mi semprava datata e la voce di ozzy mi sembrava quella di un porco , un uomo porco non nel senso sessuale ma proprio un uomo dalla voce tipo porco .... poi mi sono ricreduto...

DISCOGRAFIA CONSIGLIATA:

Il suono presente in questo disco è una miscela di psichedelia oscura e heavy metal che avrà una forte influenza nella genesi di numerose band venute dopo. I ritmi lenti e inquietanti, l'atmosfera da film horror saranno elementi presenti anche in altri generi come il doom metal, mentre migliaia di metal bands dichiareranno di essere state ispirate dai Black Sabbath per la loro musica. Forse proprio i concetti extra - musicali quali la fascinazione per l'oscurità e il mistero hanno attirato dure critiche al gruppo, che in seguito cambierà i propri interessi per dedicarsi ad altre tematiche. Ancora oggi il loro esordio, nonostante qualche immaturità caratteriale e stilistica, resta un classico nel panorama musicale internazionale, un disco seminale che ha aperto nuove strade creando un suono inconfondibile. Dall'album vennero estratti due singoli "Evil Woman" e "Wicked World"
